You connect two worlds every day, how do you do that? And what is the best cooking advice you've ever received? The answers to these questions (and many more) are available once a month in the Stories+ Snack, the Kitchen Stories business questionnaire.
It is important to me that both the interests of our users, our partner companies and the heart and soul of Kitchen Stories are protected. It's often not that easy — but when you can mentally empathize with each of them, it's not that difficult anymore. The easiest way for me to say the words is when I can identify with the subject matter at stake. Then I don't even have to ponder for long, just start writing. And it is precisely this passion that our users get to read.
When brands “get along” with our corporate identity and especially when our partners trust us. We love and live food and that is exactly why we are the right people to contact for everything that makes our taste buds glow. Every single person at Kitchen Stories is an absolute food nerd, whether it's about eating (going out) or about swinging the cooking spoon themselves. When we work with someone who appreciates exactly that, that is the key to successful cooperation on equal footing. These don't just have to be brands that, at first glance, have something to do with the food scene. But when we complement each other and are bubbling with ideas together, it simply has to be good — and delicious, of course.
I can wrap them around my finger with my emails. No, joking aside: Writing helps bring the interests of everyone involved together in an entertaining way. As already mentioned, I really flourish on topics that inspire me to think ahead, challenge me and enjoy. And when this influence spills over into cooperation topics, it results in a clear win-win situation.
That is not at all easy to answer! For me, dream campaigns don't necessarily have anything to do with a specific brand. Of course, it must fit in with us and our passion for good food. But beyond that, we should simply make a joint claim to really stir up the food scene with our content. But I actually have a specific dream: I would like to be part of a report in which Kitchen Stories interviews experts from the Berlin food scene and reveal their secrets — or at least try to do so.
Pasta water is the key to happiness! In my 3 years with Kitchen Stories, I've learned countless things, but that stands out in particular. Pasta water no longer ends up in the spout, but rounds off my dishes.
And what will probably never get lost in my pantry: Everything that has to do with licorice. Unfortunately, tea with licorice ends up right in the trash can!
- Thank you so much for the interview.
