Cooking with AR - Vodafone and Kitchen Stories make it possible

Vodafone and Kitchen Stories have made preparing meals easier than ever. This is made possible by the new Vodafone Giga AR app, which will support domestic cooking pots, pans and trays with augmented reality (AR) in the future. The Giga AR app is the first augmented reality cooking app on the German market and brings the world of Kitchen Stories to Nreal Light glasses. During the immersive cooking experience, the Giga AR app guides you step by step through selected recipes from Kitchen Stories. Thanks to intuitive eye control, you always have your hands free from the recipe book or smartphone. At the launch of the new Vodafone Giga AR app, around 30 recipes from the extensive Kitchen Stories repertoire will already be available virtually, including vegetarian and vegan dishes for every taste.

Attention-grabbing cooperation

Kitchen Stories and Vodafone were the first to launch an innovative use case for cooking with AR, and the attention was correspondingly high. Industry-relevant media, such as W&V, Wirtschaftswoche, Business Punk, DIE WELT, reported on our cooperation, we achieved hundreds of thousands of impressions on the LinkedIn business network, and the innovation case became a popular sharing piece.
